“At a time when we need the correct kind of support for the LGBTQ+ community in India, GradRight has stepped in to offer this scholarship for the community and to those who shine the most in what they do. As a former international student myself, I feel this is a step in the right direction as only through education can the voices of our community be heard. Had this been a possibility a decade ago when I too was a student, it would have been one of the scholarships that I could have applied to. A committed approach to support the educational pursuits of LGBTQ+ individuals in our country will be appreciated as we all know how much of a struggle it is to secure financing for international education not just with the support of family & friends but at times just by ourselves too! As Nelson Mandela said, ``Education is the most powerful weapon we can use to change the world!”
